Sending a parcel abroad usually means opening five courier sites and filling in the same form five times. CourierWise asks once, lines up every carrier side by side and books the one you pick, collection from your door included.
The idea
CourierWise is a parcel-booking site for everyone, not only for businesses. You say where the parcel goes from and to, describe the boxes, compare the carriers and pay by card. CourierWise books the shipment on its own carrier accounts and emails the label, the tracking link and the pickup window.
There is no sign-up. A guest gets a private link to the order, and that link alone is enough to come back to it later.
Four steps, one decision
All the sender really chooses is the courier. The rest stays simple.

Where from, where to
A country, a city and a postcode on each side, for any of 250 countries. The full address can wait until checkout.

What you’re sending
Size, weight and a clear description for each box, with optional insurance per parcel. More than one box in the same order is fine.

Every courier, side by side
Every option for the route, sorted by cheapest or fastest, with VAT, collection and tracking already in the price. Here, Athens to Berlin for a 2 kg box.

Almost there
Addresses, collection day, receipt or invoice and payment on one page. Payment happens on Stripe; CourierWise never sees the card.
The same funnel on a big screen
On a laptop the steps sit across the top and the order summary stays in view. Each price is locked for 30 minutes, so what the sender sees is what they pay.

Cities, ready to pick
150k
150,716 cities in 250 countries sit in the geographic database behind the route form, so a parcel can start or end almost anywhere.
Under the hood
- One question, many carriers
- Every connected carrier source is asked at the same time; duplicate offers are removed and the rest are sorted cheapest first.
- Payment first, booking right after
- A confirmed Stripe payment triggers the booking. The label is stored and emailed, and if a carrier refuses the booking the payment is refunded automatically.
- VAT handled at checkout
- Businesses in the EU can enter a VAT number; it is checked live against the EU VIES service and the reverse charge is applied when it is valid.
- Margins in the admin, not in the code
- A Filament panel sets pricing rules per courier and per country lane and shows orders, revenue, margin, refunds and failed bookings at a glance.
- Privacy built in
- A cookie consent banner, marketing opt-in, data export and account deletion by signed email link, all from the profile.
- Tested like it handles money
- Around 590 Pest tests with architecture rules for the domain modules, and static analysis with Larastan at level 7.
More of the site
The site runs in Greek and English, with a light and a dark theme, and works without an account from the first screen to the label.

What we are building
- A mobile-first booking funnel in React, rendered on the server for speed and search
- A Laravel backend that compares carriers, takes payment and books the shipment
- Carrier integrations through an aggregator API, built to add more sources over time
- An admin panel for couriers, pricing rules, orders, refunds and revenue
- VAT checks for EU businesses, receipt or invoice details at checkout, and the privacy tools the GDPR asks for
